Just by reading 10 pages of a book a day and applying what you learn will help you shift in the right direction. The key is consistency. The consistency will equate to approx. 15 – 20 books per year. Encourage your children/students to do the same.

I started the habit 6 years ago and I have not missed a day. By investing 25 – 30 minutes a day I have consumed well over 100 books. Each one has given ideas to take action on and apply in your life.
